This connector can be attached to any K-type thermocouple by securing the exposed wires into the screw terminals, allowing for simple, solderless connectivity with other thermocouple wires. When you connect your thermocouple wires to either end of this adapter, make sure that you match it so that wires of the same polarity are connected. If you do not, you may experience instability and incorrect sensor data.
If you need your thermocouples to reach further, you can use this connector with a segment of 3112 - K-Type Thermocouple Extension Wire.
Thermocouples cannot easily be soldered, since adding an additional metal junction will throw off the readings. The following products will help connect or extend thermocouple wires.
