Notice: This page contains information for the legacy Phidget21 Library.

Phidget21 is out of support. Bugfixes may be considered on a case by case basis.

Phidget21 does not support VINT Phidgets, or new USB Phidgets released after 2020. We maintain a selection of legacy devices for sale that are supported in Phidget21.

We recommend that new projects be developed against the Phidget22 Library.

Halloween Blood-Squirting Skull

Skull.jpg

"I wanted to build a small device that would terrify small children as they approached my door for Halloween. I suppose this makes me a bad person, but it's still a lot of fun. The concept here is pretty simple. We will be using motion detection from a web cam or network-enabled/IP camera to trigger a small fountain pump fitted into a bucket of water to spray anyone that approaches your front door. And, to make it a bit more creepy, we will fit the spray mechanism into a plastic skull."
