residential ventilation

Hello, I have a passive house project which includes air/ground exchanger for the ventilation part. Due to 1) approximations in my maths, 2) ensuring legislation requirements, 3) me not being a professional, and 4) peace of mind, I want to monitor the air flows in the 2 intake & exhaust vents (a...

Re: Proper way to measure thermistor

Probably way too late for you @Rhybot, but for other people like me who have similar issue: "2-wire 2252 Ω thermistor" -> because 2252Ω (at 25°C) is a standard for NTC, I expect your thermistor is not a RTD, but a NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient). The law between temperature and resi...

Re: Zeroconf_lookup() failed

kinda solved - enough for me: the networking API has the PhidgetNet_addServer that allows me to manually enter the addresses of all hubs and bypass the zeroconf_lookup.
Conclusion: it was not a hardware or EMF problem....

Re: Zeroconf_lookup() failed

I have tried few thing and arrived to different conclusions. I'm reporting them here for insights. -First I tried to remove the phidget libraries, and to reinstall them (to the latest update of august), but no change. -I have other HUB5000s and other units of the phidgets connected to the hub. So I ...

Zeroconf_lookup() failed

Hello, I have errors trying to connect since yesterday, but to my knowledge I haven't modified anything - nor code, nor firmware of the (network) hub, nor system updates (before, I had disconnection issues when it ran for several tens of minutes, but it did connect, every time). I have HUB5000(s) wh...

Re: DCC1100 - no output

Hi, sorry for the delay for my answer.  The model reference is KY110AS0207-15 (exactly that on the Web page shared previously). Here is a pic of my setup: https://luneart.freeboxos.fr:20517/share/wq22NHEaQhPIMIgY/IMG_20200730_160720.jpg Following the power line, here is a break down: power supply (3...

Re: DCC1100 - no output

The motor is not from phidgets. I did the hall wiring from the documentation, but I iterated with the supplier and just re-did the wiring. I powered it on again (through the windows panel again this time), nothing happened, then I turned the rotor by hand and the fuse broke. I'm just confused now......
