Re: Correct Sensor Type for MOT2002_0 ?

@muretti0114 Glad it helped! As @jdecoux said, if you open it as a 'VoltageInput' then you can set your own threshold, whereas 'DigitalInput' seems to have a fixed threshold of approx. 3.0. @jdecoux Many thanks for the info re. the Saturation error. Yes, MOT2002_0 does seem to lack the normal qualit...

Re: Correct Sensor Type for MOT2002_0 ?

I forgot to say that it also works as a 'VoltageInput' in the Control Panel, showing a varying analog voltage, but I get 'Saturation Detected' errors quite often - don't know why.

Re: Correct Sensor Type for MOT2002_0 ?

@muretti0114 If you're using the Phidget Control Panel, you can just find the correct Hub Port and double-click the item 'Hub Port - Digital Input Mode'. You should see a pop-up window with caption 'Digital Input'. Wave you hand over the sensor and the state should change to True for a short time. H...

Re: Correct Sensor Type for MOT2002_0 ?

@muretti0114

I'm using a MOT2002_0 here connected to a VINT Hub (HUB0000_0), and it's working OK as a 'DigitalInput'.

Re: Phidgets Simulator

Thanks Patrick. I'm surprised that there hasn't more interest in this over the years (judging by these forums), just the odd query that seemed to relate. Maybe an easy-ish alternative would be a public server which has a number of Phidgets connected, and to which one could connect? At least for inpu...

Re: Phidgets Simulator

Thanks Patrick. And presumably there's no easy way of hijacking the network protocol you use to interact with networked Phidgets, in order to do this? 8)

Re: Phidgets Simulator

Ah, thanks Patrick. Is there any way to simulate a Phidget when one doesn't have a physical device of the required class please? We're developing a Windows app which potentially supports all current Phidget classes and need to test each one, but we don't (yet) have physical samples of each one! Than...

Re: Test framework?

@Lincon

I just joined this forum and am looking for something like you described last summer, a test server / library or whatever for testing without having the physical device - did you find anything please?

Thanks,
Jim
