Most motors have a small shaft intend to be used with a rotary encoder, but I don't need this shaft and the motor would fit my application better without it. Is it possible to remove this shaft or will I need to cut it off? I have this motor specifically: https://www.phidgets.com/?prodid=993 Thanks
