Timeout error writing tag

hello everybody,
I need help about writing error on blank rfid card.
I use java example on support section.
Steps:
1) attacch 1024_0 phidget card
2) read card on channel 0
3) value is 'something exadecimal'

Now if I try writing another hex value the program returns Timeout error, otherwise, if I write the same value I read the program continue without error.

Where is the problem?
I use Java language, rfid 1024_0, Mac OS

If the tag already came pre-written, it sounds like it may be one of our EM4100 read-only tags. In order to write to a tag, it needs to be a read/write T5577 tag.
