link for compass calibration for mac???

Hi,
I've been trying to do a more extensive calibration on my 1044 compass.
I have windows in Parallels, and have run compass calibration there, but the program crashes often - I've wasted several hours driving around only to have the program crash when I hit "stop".
I've looked for libraries for Mac. I found ones for Phidget21 for Linux, but that requires Phidget21 to be installed.
Is there source code that can be compiled for Mac to run compass calibration?

It's a command line program. Compile and run from terminal on macOS.
