Cannot connect to sensor properly on Mac

I installed Phidget22_1.0.0.20180117 version on Mac book pro. Phidget Control Panel seems good. It recognizes my VINT hub and shows the type of sensors connected to the VINT. But when I open each sensor to see further information such as sensor values, it does not print anything: just says Nothing attached as shown in the attached file.

In Windows, there is no problem. Is it a problem with High Sierra?

I'm having the same issues trying to build the Swift and Objective-C code. The only one that works for me is 'Hello World'

One potential cause of this issue is when more than one program is trying to use a Phidget at the same time. Is there another program that has opened your light sensor?
