Phidgets + Adafruit Neopixels?

Hi,

For a project, I'm looking into using multi-colored LEDs with Phidgets.

I know there are default LED strips offered by Phidgets, but I'd like to address every LED and change it's color.

Adafruit Neopixels (https://www.adafruit.com/category/168) would be a great option to use.

Is this possible? If so, what kind of hardware would I need to hook this up with Phidgets (VINT)?

Unfortunately, there is no easy way to interface Phidgets with addressable LEDs.

Hmm, that's unfortunate. Is it something Phidgets is considering in the (near) future?

It's something that we considered already, but if I remember correctly, the issue was that our VINT protocol was not fast enough to provide timely control of all LEDs (a problem which also affects our LED1000).
