Artisan & Phidgets 1018 on OS X Big Sur

Did I get the wrong phidgets?
I’m trying to use the 1018 with a TC and plan to add a pressure sensor and more TCs as I get the setup working. I tried to configure the 1018 in the 1018 section pod the phidgets tab, but nothing seems to be getting read in artisan. First time using artisan and phidgets so feeling a bit out of my depth here.

To read a thermocouple you need a thermocouple interface, like the 1048 or TMP1100. This is because the voltage differential created by the thermocouple is too small to be accurately measured by a normal 0-5V input like the 1018 has.
