Stepper Doesn't Reset

Hi,

I am trying to get an old phidget stepper (1063_1) running with the Phidget22 python software. I managed to get the stepper running with the example file, but I noticed that the stepper doesn't reset. The stepper just stops at where the last position was and continues from there. I remember when I used the same stepper a few years ago, it reset to a start point whenever I power it on. Does that mean my stepper is broken or is there something wrong on the software side? Any suggestions are appreciated!
