Debian Buster

Hi,

I received my SBCs yesterday and I noticed they are running Debian Stretch. Are there any plans to make support available for Debian Buster? I am looking into running my code with Python 3 and would very much prefer to use Python 3.8 than 3.5. Thanks!

Buster support will be rolled out, but I don't have a timeline for this. I believe buster is on Python 3.7.

Thanks for the update. I'll be looking forward to Buster. Yes, python 3.7 is correct and I'd prefer that over 3.5 as well. Let me know please if you need any beta-testers.

Is there an update in this thread… what is the current shipping version of Debian on the SBC4?

SBC4 still runs Debian 9

I've released a new PhidgetSBC4 image for Debian 11. If you already have an SBC running Debian 9, you'll need to reflash the SD card with the new image to upgrade to Debian 11.
