Phidgets with Tablet

Post by Josef.peyre »

Hi,

Im looking to connect a phidget relay board to a Windows Surface GO 3,
I will probably hire a programmer for this, but wanted to check if its even possible first?

Many thanks,

I expect that it will work fine, though we haven't tested it specifically.

Amazing,

Is there a go-to phidget for controlling LED-lights?
Is there anything else i would need to connect other that the phidget+LED?

Thx,
Josef

What kind of LED lights?

If it's individual LEDs, you could use the LED1000 connected to a VINT Hub.

If it's a whole strip or strand of 12 or 24V LEDs, you could use a REL1100 to toggle and dim the lights.

If it's addressable LEDs like WS2811, there's no Phidget that can easily control those so you'd have to go with an Arduino-based solution.
