Help: Cannot Install Phidget on a random Window 7 computer

I have 10 computers running either win7 or win10.
I was able to install phidgets and the phidget Control Panel software on 9 of them.
I have one computer on which the drivers do not want to install.
The Control Panel software opens, but the phidget is not detected.
I can see the Phidget in the Windows Device Manager, but right-click install driver only provokes a 5 minute search of the hard drive and fails at the end.

Could there be something blocking the installation?

Is the Windows 7 PC fully up to date?

What Phidgets are you attaching?

In the control panel, Help->Open Logs Folder, and post the contents of Phidget22Manager.log

Yes, the update were made. Computer is functioning as it should in all other aspects, but it is quite old from 2014.

I've attached the log file but it's basically this:

Repeated a few times. I had Phidget21 installed previously on this machine, but that was removed.

What type of Phidgets are you using?

4 port temperature input 1048_2B.
But I also tried with a standard hub.
Same issue.

This means that WinUSB drivers aren't getting loaded as expected for some reason. I suspect an update issue. I recommend trying these steps:
