Failsafe feature in Max API

Hi there,

I currently have a problem with the max API and my 4x digital output Phidget module (OUT1100_0).

I need to invert the default state of my digital output. In fact, I would like that my channel state stay at 1 rather than 0 when it is not controlled, or when the application crashes. However, I have not yet found an option allowing such an inversion.

But in the Max API, there is obviously a function to enable or not the failsafe feature (enableFailsafe). Unfortunately, I can't get it to work and/or it doesn't seem to be working. Has anyone ever had to use this function in Max? I have not yet tried with another language.
