Using control panel the 1047 encoder reports version 200 and also states a firmware upgrade is available and displays this message:
There is a major firmware upgrade available for this device, which may be incompatible with existing code/software. Review the product page, and ensure all software has been updated before continuing.
Where are the changes to the firmware update described? I didn't see them link on the product page:

Using the control panel dialog for upgrading I see the proposed change is from version 200 to version 301 for the 1047 high-speed encoder. I'd like to be able to review what the changes are before upgrading (though it's nice to see that downgrading is an option also).

I have the same question abpout changes, bug fixes, new features for the REL1100_0 4-channel relay. Currently the two I'm using are at version 120. An upgrade to 130 is available.

The product revisions can be seen on the product page -> Specifications tab, and scroll down to the very bottom.

The major change on the 1047 is going to version 200, where it will no longer allow use with Phidget21 libraries (our older version of the libraries). If you are using Phidget22 libraries, this won't affect you. However going to 301 is advised. Downgrading is an option if 301 introduces any new problems; but please report any issues you find to support.
