no firmware upload option in Phidget Control Panel

Hi,
I have phidget 21 and phidget 22 installed on many computers because of some issues with phidget 21 on some newer phidget boards. Anyway, on a few computers, I see the firmware upload option and other options when I right click on the board in the phidget 22 control panel. But on several computers, the only option I get when I right click is 'Add label'. If I try to run phidget 21 control panel, the control panel never pops up. Anyone experience anything like this?

phidget21 doesn't support firmware upgrade at all.

For phidget22, it sounds like you have an old control panel installed, try upgrading to the latest version. If no upgrades are available, you'll still see a greyed out upgrade firmware option in the menu.
