1047- Pinout

Hi,
Newbee here.
My 1047 is connected to PC.
I can see everything in the Pidget Control Panel.
I can measure 5 Vdc on green connector.
Shouldn't I measure 5 Vdc on the 4 black Encoder-connectors?
There is nothing connected to the Encoder-connectors.
Thank in advance.
Nilsson

Here's the pinout for the 1047:

If you measure between the 5V and G pin on the black connector, you should see 5 volts. The other three pins (A, B, and Index) are inputs, so you won't see any voltage there.

Thanks.
I guess my 1047 is dead because there is not 5Vdc on either of the black Encoder-connectors.

I forgot to mention- the encoder channel must be enabled in order for you to see power on the black connector. If you open the channel in the Phidget control panel, it will be enabled by default.

If you're using your own program or script, use the "enabled" property in order to enable the channel.
