1132/1135 Use and Changes

I was intending to use an 1132 module in the project originally, then I found out it is meant for 4-20mA sensors that are transducer type. My input was way off so I switched to an 1135. Basically, I have a flow meter that that runs off of 24V and has an isolated 4-20mA loop out. I was connecting the loop to the +/- inputs of the module. I changed to 1135 with a highly accurate 250ohm resistor to get 1-5VDC. At some point the system drifted by .3v which we are troubleshooting now. Unfortunately, for my scale .3V is a big difference when I convert to the 3-40LPM. I cannot go above 500ohm for this device which helps a little at 2-10VDC. The question I have is, is there a way I can use the 1132 still, or is there a better phidget board to use with my smaller voltage inputs? I have it connected to an 8/8/8 board and then to a Moon Island Gateway.
