Analog Input Boards & Same Code

Hi,

I am using a PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8 ( ID: 1018_2B ) to read data from Sharp infrared distance sensors

• Sharp Distance Sensor (4-30cm) ID: 3520_0
• Sharp Distance Sensor (10-80cm) ID: 3521_0
• Sharp Distance Sensor (20-150cm) ID: 3522_0

via IR Distance Adapters ( ID: 1101_0 ).


Could I also read this data with other boards like the

• VINT Hub Phidget ( HUB0000_0 ) optional with 8x Voltage Input Phidget ( ID: DAQ1000_0 )
• PhidgetTextLCD 20X2 : White : Integrated PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8 ( ID: 1203_2B )
• PhidgetSBC3 ( ID: 1073_0 )
• PhidgetSBC4 ( ID: SBC3003_0 )
• PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8 ( ID: 1018_2B )
• PhidgetInterfaceKit 8/8/8 w/6 Port Hub ( ID: 1019_1B )
• PhidgetInterfaceKit 2/2/2 ( ID: 1011_0 )

without to change my code ?

HUB0000 requires phidget22, and setting isHubPortDevice to true. SBCs would require an addServer call because you are opening over the network. The others would require no changes at all.
