If anyone is interested I have successfully learnt the math that computes a direction Cosine Matrix from the raw accelerometer and magnetometer readings from the phidget spatial. I just need to implement the gyroscope into this then decide how best to output my data but happy to share my patch if anyone is interested. I will add the file when I'm home
